Yungaba House

Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, Queensland

In January 2016 Sealasash undertook a large project at Yungaba House to reinstate 135 double hung windows back to full working order. Work included repairs, discrete draught sealing and upgrading glass to comfort hush and rebalancing all sashes to work properly. We worked under contract to Hutchinson Builders and finished the project to a high standard, on budget and on time.

This heritage building is one of Queensland’s most notable buildings and was originally used as the immigration centre. It has been repurposed for high-end units with a redevelopment cost of approximately $60 million.
