These original double-hung sash windows were in need of significant repair before Sealasash took on the project to retrofit double glazing into them. Our team first restored the damaged timber frames using traditional methods, ensuring the windows operated smoothly once again.
We then upgraded the glazing: the thin, outdated panes were replaced with Vacuum Insulated Double Glazing Glavenir by Panasonic for superior insulation, and selected openings were fitted with EnergyTech Glass to boost thermal performance where required.
The work was completed with our core service of draught and acoustic sealing, blocking air leaks, reducing rattles, and improving comfort year-round. As outlined in Simple Solutions Work, sealing is a crucial part of delivering lasting results.
