Gladswood House

Double Bay, New South Wales

Otherwise known as “Glenyarrah or “Seaford House”, is a Gothic Revival sandstone residence designed by architect William Munro or Hilly and built for Samuel Gordon in 1886-64. The residence is actually built on a portion of the “Point Piper Estate” that was granted to Captain John Piper by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1820.

This landmark is listed under NSW State Heritage and has been home to many well known families and influential people. Sealasash is proud that we were commissioned in 2020 to overhaul, repair, draught seal and paint the exterior of the beautiful wooden double hung sash windows.
